Where it is used
They are used on plugs, covers, flanges, fittings and cylinder end caps, where reliable sealing is needed even with pressure peaks.
How to choose BKS
- Check the housing sizes and the maximum circuit pressure.
- With large clearances choose profiles with anti-extrusion rings.
- Filled PTFE (bronze, glass or carbon): minimal friction and no stick-slip, suitable for high speeds.
- POM: rigid back-up and anti-extrusion rings with good dimensional stability.
